2019 SUMMER MINDFUL RETREAT

San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville
The retreat begins at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 9, and ends at 5:00 p.m. each day. Lunch will be included. The retreat will close on Thursday July 11 at 5:00 p.m. Participants can return home each evening, or can stay overnight and have breakfasts and dinners included for an extra charge.
The price is $349 per person, add $130 to stay 2 nights with breakfasts and dinners = $479
The Retreat will be co-led by Chau Yoder, Dharma Teacher in the Thich Nhat Hanh tradition, and Dick Powell, club founder. We will again use parts the book The Mindful Day by Laurie J. Cameron, which is currently the text for our weekly Practicing Mindfulness Class.
Ms. Cameron says that in 1995 she met Chau Yoder, who introduced her to mindfulness and tutored her. Today she is now a Senior Mindfulness Teacher with Google's “Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute” and mindfulness author. Renowned Mindfulness Teacher Jack Kornfield says of Cameron's book "A wise, delightful, and life-changing book, combining inspiration with delicious, practical ways to make well-being come alive in your day."
The Retreat will include Meditation, Walking Meditation, Chi Gong, Mindful Eating, The Five Mindfulness Trainings, Dharma Discussion, and other exercises to deepen your understanding and experience of Full Mindful Living. There will also be time for journaling, quiet, and walking in the beautiful gardens of San Damiano.

A $150 deposit is required to reserve your space. Add $50 if you want to reserve room & board as well, total $200 deposit. You can also pay in full, $349, if staying over add $130 = $479 total.
Payment can be by check or credit card. If credit card just put amount you are paying in the Credit Card box, and you will receive an Invoice from PayPal for secure on line payment with the credit card of your choice.
